Questions
When does a business need custom software?
When the work follows a pattern no off-the-shelf tool fits, when staff spend hours moving information between systems, or when an owner cannot see what is happening without asking three people. If a bought tool will do, that is the better answer, and we say so.
Can Ascent Vision build my app idea?
Yes, if it can be built well. We start by writing down what the first version must do and who it is for, then build it in small releases you can try as you go. If the idea needs something we cannot do well, we tell you before any work starts.
How long does a build take?
It depends on the job, and the schedule is agreed in writing before work starts. Larger systems are released in stages, so you can use each part early instead of waiting for the whole.
Who owns the software?
Your data and the accounts it runs on are yours from the start. Who owns the code is written into the agreement before work begins.
