Marketing for Florida service businesses

Ascent Vision is a Florida marketing company. We help small service businesses across the state get found on Google and in AI answers, and turn every inquiry into a tracked lead.

Ascent Vision is a Florida marketing company, based in Tallahassee and formed in October 2026, for small service businesses and independent professionals. It works to get them found on Google (SEO) and named in AI answers such as ChatGPT, Gemini, Perplexity and Google’s AI Overviews (GEO), routes every inquiry to the owner within minutes tagged with its source, and upgrades or builds the website it all runs on. It works with businesses anywhere in Florida by video call, and in person by appointment near Tallahassee.

What we found on 96 Florida service-business websites

In October 2026 we read the public pages of 96 small Florida service-business websites, hand-picked from ordinary web searches, in 10 regions. 64 of 96 (67%) did not say all three of what the business does, where it works and who it is for in the opening lines of the home page. 29 of 96 (30%) gave search engines and AI assistants no machine-readable summary of the business, 32 of 96 (33%) had no tap-to-call phone number on any page read, and 24 of 96 (25%) had no way to get in touch on the home page itself.

The two biggest regions in the sample tell the same story: in Tallahassee and the Big Bend, 19 of 26 (73%) left out at least one of what, where and for whom; in Miami-Dade and Broward, 13 of 19 (68%). What 96 Florida service-business websites leave out

Three things to plan for in Florida

Recording a call needs everyone’s consent

Florida’s law (Florida Statutes, section 934.03) allows recording a call when all of the parties to it have given prior consent. Federal law generally needs only one person on the call to agree, so Florida asks more. A lead system that records calls should say so at the start and ask. This is a plain summary, not legal advice.

Sales texts and calls have their own state law

Florida’s telephone solicitation law (Florida Statutes, section 501.059) counts a call, a text message or a voicemail sent to sell consumer goods or services as a telephonic sales call. An unsolicited one made with an automated dialing system or a recorded message needs the person’s prior express written consent. A call or text answering someone’s own request is treated differently, so a lead system should record what each person asked for and agreed to. Ask a lawyer before any texting campaign; this is not legal advice. Florida’s rules for sales calls and texts, in more detail

Hurricane season shapes the year

The Atlantic hurricane season runs from June 1 to November 30 (NOAA’s National Hurricane Center). For many Florida service businesses, demand, scheduling and what customers ask about move with it, so the pages people find and the way inquiries are answered should be ready before the season, not during it.

What a Florida business gets

  • Found on Google by people in the towns you serve who are looking for what you sell
  • Built to be described correctly, and named, when people ask an AI assistant for a business like yours
  • Every inquiry on your phone within minutes, tagged with where it came from, with a record of what each person agreed to and a monthly count of which sources brought in customers

What we will not do

  • Promise a ranking, an AI recommendation or a number of leads.
  • Build a near-identical page for every Florida city. This page exists because we have Florida numbers and Florida rules to report; a city gets its own page only when we have something true to say about it.
  • Keep your website, content or lead data if you leave. They are yours.

Questions

Is Ascent Vision a Florida marketing company?

Yes. Ascent Vision LLC is a Florida limited liability company formed in October 2026 and based in Tallahassee. It does SEO, GEO (visibility in AI answers such as ChatGPT and Google’s AI Overviews), lead systems and websites for small service businesses and independent professionals.

Do you work with businesses in Miami, Tampa, Orlando or Jacksonville?

Yes, by video call. Ascent Vision works with service businesses anywhere in Florida and across the United States; in-person meetings are by appointment near Tallahassee.

Does a Florida business need a Spanish version of its website?

Only when a real share of its customers prefer Spanish and the business can serve them in Spanish, on the phone and on the job as well as on the page. Check your own area and your own inquiries first, and have a fluent person review every page rather than publishing unchecked machine translation.

Can a Florida business record calls with new leads?

Florida’s law (Florida Statutes, section 934.03) allows recording a call when all of the parties have given prior consent; federal law generally needs only one person on the call to agree. The safe habit is to tell callers at the start that the call may be recorded, ask whether that is okay, and stop if they say no. This is a plain summary, not legal advice.

How much does marketing cost for a Florida small business?

Ascent Vision does not publish prices: each engagement is scoped on a call. When you compare quotes, ask each company what it will report each month, and whether you keep your website and lead records if you leave.
